Home Birth
Supporting birth when and wherever it happens in your home helps prioritize your autonomy and preferences. It can create a nurturing atmosphere that empowers you to welcome your baby into the world on your terms. A minimum of two fully trained midwives will attend the labor. The birth team is there to offer you emotional, physical and clinical support that encourages the physiological process of birth. Most importantly we are there for the uncommon & unexpected moments in birth and are trained to react promptly in order to manage, treat or transfer as needed to support the safest outcomes for both you and your newborn.

Newborn & Postpartum
This forgotten fourth trimester is remembered and respected within the midwifery model of care. Following the labor and birth the midwife will remain present in the clients’ home for a handful of hours to provide care during the immediate postpartum period and ensure both parent and baby are supported and well. In home care continues with scheduled visits on day 1 & 3, and week 1, 3 & 6 postpartum where we check on the physical & emotional wellbeing of both parent and newborn.
